Mr. Kamala Kanta Dash is an Assistant Prof of Public Policy and Management at Sri Sri University and a Director at the Climate Change and Sustainability Centre at Sri Sri University. He has been trained in Climate Change education from the The Climate Reality Project (USA) India Office and has conducted several training programs in areas of environment, communication, public policy and higher education. He has also worked as an Expert, Training & Capacity Development (TCD) at PwC India, a global leader in consulting. He has been trained in Case-Teaching from Professors of IIM Ahmadabad and the Harvard Business School, and Case Writing from Professors of ISB Hyderabad.
Mr. Kamala Kanta Dash as a Master Trainer in areas of Entrepreneurship development, Skills Development, CSR, Public Policy, Communication and Capacity Development has worked for International Agencies, Government of Odisha, Govt of India and several industry bodies. He has been a trainer and consultant having worked in projects with the World Bank, The Unicef, Paradip Port Trust, IOCL, JK Paper, World Trade Centre (WTC) Bhubaneswar, in addition to several current MLAs, MPs and Ministers along with Odisha based media and civil society leaders. He has direct experience of working with policy makers at the state level who have drafted youth, skills development, startup and tribal development policies.
Acquiring his higher academic training from Ravenshaw, from JNU, New Delhi and from Monash University in Australia, Mr. Dash has been successful in developing new practices in academia, industry, media and NGO sectors. A familiar face on primetime television Mr. Dash has been invited by Odisha based TV channels with more than 1000+ interviews on issues of Public Policy, International Relations, International Education and Global Business. He was recently invited by Department of Education, Government of Odisha to share his ideas on the New Federal Education Policy. Mr. Dash is proficient in English, Hindi, Odia and understands Sanskrit. He is a trained Yoga Teacher and trains students in personal branding and business communication.
Mr. Kamala Kanta Dash, has more than 22 years of experience (2000-ongoing) in working for the industry, academia, think tank, media, and the governments in areas of Public Policy, Communications, International Relations and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He has lived, studied and worked in Australia and India.
He is currently a Senior Project Consultant with Ernst and Young, a global leader in consulting, extending support to the Government of Rajasthan (GoR) to develop industry led higher education landscapes by adopting global best practices in Emerging Technologies. He is also an Assistant Prof of Public Policy and Management at Sri Sri University and a former Director at the Climate Change and Sustainability Centre at Sri Sri University and is currently on industry deputation from the university.
He is strong believer and practitioner in Administration-Industry and Academia (AIA) engagement. He has trained academics, business leaders in Industry-Academia Engagement, Higher Education Leadership, Public Policy Analysis, Communication, Sustainability, and Personal Branding.
